Tickets have been selling briskly (more than 100 on Wednesday and again on Thursday) for Peter and The Wolf. Together the Boca Raton Symphonia and Boca Ballet Theatre perform the 1936 Russian children’s musical symphony and fairy tale Peter and the Wolf, a classic children’s story for all ages about Peter, the wolf and other animals in the nearby forest. The performance features the 22-year-old accomplished pianist, clarinetist and conductor Teddy Abrams who has conducted the New World Symphony Orchestra in Miami Beach, Washington, DC and Carnegie Hall; the Curtis Symphony Orchestra at the Kennedy Center and the Symphony Parnassus of San Francisco. WXEL’S Classical Variation’s popular host and producer Joanna Marie narrates the performance as members of the Boca Ballet Theatre portray the story through dance. The evening is sponsored by Sun Capital Partners Foundation, Inc. and Boston Market.
