Del Mar Village shopping center (www.shopsatdelmar.com) invites the area residents, synagogues, schools and other organizations to a special Community Passover Freedom Fest event to ramp up for the upcoming holiday from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday, March 30th. The jam-packed, open-to-the-public program will feature plenty of free-themed family activities, entertainment and fun for all generations.

Awaiting event-goers will be a DJ, live entertainment, holiday and folk music, Passover food and wine tastings, games and prizes, themed arts and crafts, a “Find the Matzah” scavenger hunt, bounce houses, face painting, photo opportunities, and “chances to win”. There will also be merchant “bounce back” specials, sales and discounts, plus showcase tables from shops of Del Mar Village and participating community organizations.

“What a great time and way to bring the community together to appreciate and celebrate the meaning of freedom,” noted Jeff Purisch, property manager at Del Mar Village. “With local synagogues, schools and organizations coming together, Del Mar Village is committed to providing family-friendly programming for the community by community in the community.”

Located at 7016 Beracasa Way at the intersection of West Palmetto Park Road and Powerline Road in Boca Raton, the Del Mar Village shopping center is a retail destination with more than 30 shops and restaurants including Winn Dixie, Sweet Tomatoes and CVS, among others.
