Sianne Chong, Marketing Manager at Capitol Lighting

Capitol Lighting (CL), a leading omni-channel retailer of high quality lighting fixtures and home accessories, names Sianne Chong as marketing manager.

Chong brings experience working with traditional, digital and social media marketing for notable companies such as The Jacksonville Jaguars, Bi-Lo/Winn-Dixie and a leading IT managed service provider. In her role she will help strengthen the cohesive marketing plan for Capitol Lighting to further their omni-channel efforts and expand their digital presence through social media engagement, increase blog initiatives and streamline content.

She is responsible for overseeing and coordinating all aspects of integrated multi-channel brand strategy and marketing, including strategic internal and external communications, messaging and implementation for Capitol Lighting’s eight showrooms and corporate website       1-800Lighting.com. Areas of concentration include print, broadcast and online advertising; public relations; media communications, social media initiatives; community relations; industry collaborations and designer and consumer events.

Chong earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing from University of North Florida Coggin College of Business. While a varsity student athlete in Cross Country and Track & Field at UNF she served as President for the Woman in Business Society and Event Coordinator for the (UNF or WIB?) Student Leadership Advisory Board as well as Membership and Marketing Chair for the Cathedral Arts Project Young Professional group.
