As the official community and public relations firm and a sponsor of the Allianz Championship since the PGA Champions tour event first “took the green” in Boca Raton five years ago, we at Kaye Communications, Inc. want to make sure you are aware of all the exciting “events within the event” during tournament week February 7th-13th that will drive net proceeds to benefit Boca Raton Regional Hospital.

The 2011 Allianz Championship roster includes golf legends Bernhard Langer, Nick Price, Tom Lehman, Corey Pavin, Fred Couples, Paul Azinger and tour rookies Kenny Perry, Mark Calcavecchia, and Steve Lowery competing for a tournament purse of $1.7 million, with all championship rounds televised by the Golf Channel from The Old Course at Broken Sound Club located on the north side of Yamato Road on Old Course Way between Congress Avenue and Military Trail at 1401 NW 51st Street in Boca Raton.

General admission to the tournament is once again free due to the generous underwriting by sponsors Allianz Life, the City of Boca Raton, JM Lexus, Konica Minolta, and Administaff with opportunities to purchase special seating in the Partners Club overlooking the 16th green and Executive Skybox section overlooking the 18th green. With more than 85,000 are expected to attend and there are still sponsorship and volunteer opportunities available.

Jon and Bonnie Kaye and Ingrid Fulmer are co-chairing the 2nd ANNUAL ALLIANZ CHAMPIONSHIP GOLF & WINE EXPERIENCE on FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 11, 2011 at 5: 30 p.m. immediately at close of first day of championship play. Held on Course at the Main Hospitality Tent, wine connoisseurs and golf enthusiasts will get the chance to hobnob on the green with legends of golf while popping the cork on the green to sample reds and whites from the private wine collections of golf pros’ own vineyards all while benefiting the Boca Raton Regional Hospital. Individual tickets: $125; group ticket packages are available that include tournament week perks.
